Award Winners

Above are listed the first prize winners in each of the categories. "First prize winners are given membership in the art club for one year with all fees and dues waived." There were forty-one exhibiting G.I. artists in all. (Brushstrokes, L.A. Times, Aug. 4, 1946)

Four CAC Silver Medals for excellence were awarded "in the four Fine Arts mediums. Other mediums will receive ribbons and parchments." (We Sponsor a History-Making Event, CAC Bulletin, July 1946)
