Submission Deadline for ‘Autumn Splendor’
Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 8:00 am - 11:59 pm
We ask artists to represent Autumn Splendor via contemporary-traditional methods. Any genre of work will be eligible for consideration.
Autumn represents courage and the preservation of life. The works submitted could depict wildlife preparing for the winter, to farmers working on their fall harvest, to still lifes representing favorite symbols of fall, to gorgeous red, green and brown landscapes covered in leaves, to windblown seascapes. Sculptures could showcase majestic deer, or small squirrels hiding their stash of nuts, or even a deity associated with autumn or the harvest.
We kindly request that artists submit works created in the last two years. All artwork must be available for acquisition.
The guest judge for this competition is Erin M. Curtis PhD, Historian and Curator at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.
