The Malibu/Ventura Chapter invites you to a paint/sculpt-out at Leo Carrillo State Beach on December 16, 2023.

A word from Chapter Chair, Beverly Lazor:

“In preparation of our 8^th Triennial “On Location in Malibu” exhibition at the beloved Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University in 2024, we are having a paint out at Leo Carrillo State Beach. This area has beautiful, rugged rocks on sandy beaches, coastal caves, a campground, hiking trails, surfing, windsurfing and wildlife to paint.

Everyone is welcome!

• We will meet at the top of the cliffs between the lifeguard stations.
• Bring art supplies, water, lunch, sunscreen, hat etc…
• We will have an informal critique at 12:00 by the lifeguard station.
