Current CAC Members in the following Chapters; San Francisco and Monterey Bay. Signature Sculptor Members are also welcome to submit.

Subject:
This exhibition will showcase the iconic California lifestyle as we encourage you to explore enigmatic beauty of our Golden State.

Artwork could represent anything from the awe-inspiring Golden Gate Bridge, to the classical California coastlines, to the quintessential surfers, fruit cart vendors, or even a portrait of your favorite actor.

Artwork that explores San Francisco and Monterey Bay from a more fantastical standpoint is also welcome. Think of the stereotypical steep streets of San Francisco, the eerie draw of Alcatraz, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, or the Old Fisherman’s Wharf. Get creative and depict what you think is Iconic California!

Medium:
Paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic.

Sculptures in permanent materials such as bronze, marble, terra cotta, fiberglass, or wood.

Please note that there is no size limitation. Sculptors will have to provide their own pedestal for display. Paintings done on gallery wrapped canvas are not required to be framed.

Commission:
50% Artist; 30% Gallery; 20% CAC

HOW TO APPLY	Submit all artwork through OnlineJuriedShows.com for considering to exhibit in Iconic California. There is no limit on how many works an artist can submit. Submission fees are non-refundable.
ENTRY FEE	Please pay by credit card through OnlineJuriedShows.com.   For $30, you may submit 1 image. Additional images are $5 each.
NOTIFICATIONS	Notifications will be sent to artists via their OnlineJuriedShows account on or around Friday, December 10, 2021
ARTWORK DROP-OFF /PICK-UP	Please note that the address to drop-off and ship artwork is different.   Artwork Drop-off is Thursday, January 27 – Saturday, January 29, 2022 between 12 – 4 p.m. at Curated by the Sea, 703 Front Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.   If you require shipping, all shipped artwork must be delivered no later than January 28, 2022. Please ship to the following address;   Attn: Curated By The Sea 217 Ocean View Ave Santa Cruz, Ca 95062 408.250.2224     Pick-up is Sunday, February 27, 2022 between 4 – 5 p.m. at the close of the exhibition.
PREPARING PAINTINGS	Please label the back of paintings with your name, phone number, and email, title of the artwork, medium, dimensions and price.   Please note that artwork needs to be wired and ready to hang on wall upon arrival.   Sculptors will need to supply their own pedestal.
SHIPPING and SALES	If a work sells, the collector will assume shipping costs, if applicable. The CAC and/or Curated By The Sea will process all sales, and handing tax or any applicable fees.
RECEPTION	Reception will take place on Friday, February 4, 2022 between 6 – 8 p.m. at Curated By The Sea.
