Jean Stern, Executive Director of The Irvine Museum and one of the country’s foremost experts on the California Impressionism movement, will provide tips for looking at and appreciating classical fine art, referencing works in this year’s Gold Medal Exhibition. Following his lecture, which will take place in museum’s Wells Fargo Theater, he will accompany attendees to the Gold Medal Exhibition for a closer look at the works on display.
