Painting Demonstration by CAC artist London Vale & Paint/Sculpt-Out at Fényes Gardens
Sunday, January 21 at 9:00 am - 1:30 pm
Join the CAC and the Pasadena Museum of History for a painting demonstration and Paint/Sculpt-Out in the Fényes Gardens celebrating our exhibition The Diverse Environments of the Arroyo Seco. An incredibly special live painting demonstration by CAC Artist London Vale will start the day to give us some inspiration to make some beautiful art! Come celebrate with us!
Please Note: Due to the rainy weather, we will be moving the demonstration inside the museum so, come down and enjoy the exhibition and watch a wonderful artist at work! This is/was also intended as a Paint/Sculpt-Out in the Fenyes Mansion Gardens. Its going to be raining off and on all day but, for those daring souls, the gardens will be open for you to paint and sculpt in. Please dress accordingly and note that these details are subject to change.
About the exhibition:
The Diverse Environments of the Arroyo Seco
Affectionately known to locals as “the Arroyo”, the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena is a protected parkland with 22 miles of trails and recreation opportunities. It provides the habitat to sustain the rich biodiversity found within this stunning canyon.
Works will capture the picturesque nature and unique charm of the varied spaces in the Arroyo Seco, with special attention to its habitat, water resources and wild life common to the area.
