DIRECTIONS: Point Lobos State Natural Reserve is located on Highway 1, just 3.4 miles south of the Ocean Avenue in Carmel. The Painting location will be at the very end of the park. You can park near China Cove and enjoy painting from anywhere near the parking lot. You can also climb up the hill either by stairs, or handicap trail to get to China Cove and catch a view of Bird Island.
NOTE: Please beware of Poison Oak. It creeps up in the underbrush on the trails.
COST: Park entry fee is $10 per car.
