Malibu/Ventura County Chapter Paint/Sculpt-Out – King Gillette Ranch

Often used for filming, King Gillette Ranch features both unspoiled California land as well as historic architectural structures including a Chumash settlement and buildings built in the 1920’s for the razor magnate King Gillete by California Golden Age architect Wallace Neff.
Venue: King Gillette Ranch
26800 W. Mulholland Hwy, Calabasas
Eligibility: Open to all CAC members and their friends!
Directions:Take the 101 Ventura Freeway to the Las Virgenes/Malibu Canyon exit. Head south on Las Virgenes Road and continue to Mulholland Highway, about two miles. Turn left onto Mulholland Highway and immediately look for the King Gillette Ranch entrance on the right.
OR. Take I-10 Santa Monica Freeway west to the Pacific Coast Highway north. Travel approximately 12 miles then turn right onto Malibu Canyon Road. Continue north on Malibu Canyon Road for approximately seven miles, and then turn right onto Mulholland Hwy. Immediately look for the King Gillette Ranch entrance on the right.

Parking: $7.00 Parking Fee.
Pack: Water and lunch, sunscreen and umbrellas.
Other Details: Toilets and water available in the Dormitory Building.
