Mixing it up in order to paint with other CAC members and guests, the Central Coast, Santa Barbara, and Malibu/Ventura Chapters have planned a 3-Chapter paintout at the Douglas Family Preserve in Santa Barbara. As the brief video shows, this is a unique venue with ocean, mountain, and forest views that change throughout the day with the changing light.  Directions: (3.6 Miles from Freeway to Preserve) take the 101 Freeway to Santa Barbara, exit at Las Positas Road turning toward the ocean (west); proceed through the roundabout to the second exit onto Cliff Drive (south/up the hill); proceed to the first traffic light and turn right onto Mesa Lane then take your first right onto Borton Lane. You can park on the street at the end or turn left onto Linda Lane and park on the street at the end there. I will set up a table with a map of the Preserve at the Linda Lane entrance Lane so that you can indicate approximately where we can find you.  Fast food, grocery stores, etc. with facilities are just up Cliff Drive at the intersection with Meigs Road. If anyone gets lost, just call me on my cell phone. Looking forward to a great time.
