Due to a forecast for rainy weather, the California Art Club Market Gathering, scheduled for Saturday, March 2, has been postponed. 

The Club apologizes for any inconvenience. The new date will be posted as soon as it is confirmed.

The California Art Club Market Gathering offers fun-for-the-family activities for aspiring artists who want to learn about the practice of painting outdoors, while also browsing for art and surplus art supplies.

This event with free admission includes a “Paint-Along” in the tranquil garden surrounding The Old Mill and an open-air market for art-related materials.

During the “Paint-Along,” attendees can paint alongside and ask questions of dozens of CAC artists, who will position their easels throughout the garden to create new works inspired by the picturesque setting. Art-making tables will be set up for children to draw and paint the native flowers and plants that surrounds the historic landmark.

The open-air art market will feature vendors offering original artwork, as well as new and gently used art supplies, books, catalogs, and other materials.

Attendees of the event will also be offered an exclusive 10-percent price reduction on paintings showcased in Moonlight Serenade, the exhibition currently on view at the California Art Club Gallery at The Old Mill.
