Qualifications:
All current CAC juried artist members in the following categories; Signature Artist, Artist, Sculptor, Out-of-State, and Mentorship Program Members of the California Art Club.

Please note that Associate Artist Members are not eligible to submit.

Subject:
This exhibition is unthemed. Artists may submit up to two “standard-size” works and one miniature for consideration, keeping in mind the California Art Club’s mission, which is to promote the best examples of traditional fine art while showcasing what makes your work unique.

We kindly request that artists submit works created in the last three years.
Artwork submitted cannot have won any awards nor can it have been displayed in any other exhibition, CAC or otherwise.
If it is discovered that accepted artwork does not adhere the above criteria, the artwork will be forfeited from showing in the exhibition.

Note: Sculptors must submit three digital images of various angles of each entry.

Guest Judge:

Peter Adams, President Emeritus and Signature Artist of the California Art Club.

Michael Obermeyer, President and Signature Artist of the California Art Club.

Jean Stern, Artist Historian and Director Emeritus of Irvine Museum.

Christopher Slatoff, Sculptor and Signature Artist of the California Art Club.

John Cosby, Signature Artist of the California Art Club with the Orange County Chapter.

Laurie Kersey, Signature Artist of the California Art Club with the Monterey Chapter.

Medium:
Paintings must be in traditional materials; oils, acrylics, pastel or watercolor.

• No works on giclée or any print-making process will be accepted, all artwork and references must be original.
• No digital or digitally altered images will be accepted.

Sculptures must be of permanent materials; bronze, marble, terra cotta, fiberglass, resin or wood.

Commission:
60% Artist; 40% CAC

All works must be for sale. 

Art submissions should be outstanding examples of your work created in the last 3 years and cannot have been exhibited at other venues or won previous awards. 

Please note that the Hilbert Museum is family oriented and partners with local K-12 schools.  As such, we ask that artwork submitted be family friendly.

Details regarding catalogue and framing requirements will be sent to accepted artists.


HOW TO APPLY
Submit all artwork through OnlineJuriedShows. There is an entry limit of three works per artist, two "standard-size" works and one miniature.

ENTRY FEE
Please pay by credit card through OnlineJuriedShows. For $95, you may submit three images.

Submission fees are non-refundable.

NOTIFICATIONS

Notifications will be sent to artists via their OnlineJuriedShows artist profile on or around Monday, April 29.

ARTWORK DROP-OFF/PICK-UP
Monday, August 12 & Tuesday, August 13 between 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  RSVP Required.  Specific delivery details will be provided upon acceptance.

SHIPPING and SALES
If a work sells, the collector will assume shipping costs. The CAC will handle the sale of the artwork, itself, and any associated tax.

Artwork cannot be removed for the duration of the exhibition.

OUT-OF-TOWN SHIPPING
Artwork must arrive before Friday, July 26.

Artists are responsible for the cost of crating, handling and shipping artwork to and from the exhibition via our logistics partner.  Further details will be provided upon acceptance.

ARTWORK PICK-UP

Wednesday, October 30 & Thursday, October 31 between 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

ARTIST RECEPTION

Expected Sunday, August 18 at the Hilbert Museum
