As an Artist, are you looking to build your online reputation? Have you tried social media and found it frustrating? California Art Club is offering a Social Media Seminar.

The three hour seminar will cover: How to set-up your social media accounts. A step by step process to ensure your accounts have all the details you need. Which Social Media Sites you need to get started. We will provide a simple list of site you should pay attention to and how to use them.

Why Social Media is important: We will provide some basic information on why engaging in social media is important. How to engage at your level. We will provide basic information on how to choose a role in the social media process. Question and Answer Session. Time will be allowed for Q&A.

NOTE: Participants must bring their own laptop. Enrollment is limited.

JD Monge is the Owner of Hey, Mongé!, an online marketing consultation company. He has provided services to Nokia, YMCA of Orange, The City of Orange Mayors Office, Cashcall, and many small business owners. JD focuses on the holistic aspects of marketing and works to tailor solutions to the specific needs of his clients. When he isn’t helping clients, he is spending time with his wife and two kids, playing tennis, or painting miniatures.

California Art Club Members Converge on Arroyo Seco for Paint-Out



“The California Art Club, one of the oldest and most active fine-arts organizations in California, wrapped up its Centennial Celebration with “Paint Out,” an invitation to 25 club artists to paint “en plein air” (in the open air) at the lush gardens surrounding La Casita, a Pasadena cultural landmark overlooking the Arroyo Seco. Artists were asked to focus on the flowers and foliage in the landscape, befitting the club’s original location at the home of the “King of Roses,” also known as renowned plein-air artist Franz Bischoff.”
