Burtt is a founding member of two groups that protect California’s agriculture, wilderness, and public lands. Through exhibitions with The Oak Group and SCAPE over the last 25 years she has helped to preserve dozens of endangered places. Burtt is drawn to color and light and how they form changing abstract patterns throughout the day. She uses bold, expressive brush strokes and focuses with great intensity on every subtle changing of light. This information, and more, can be

Usually on the first Monday of each month, a CAC Signature Artist Member meets with groups of five Associate Artists to provide insightful and constructive feedback about their work. We hope that this small intimate setting will provide a forum for artists to learn from critiques of each others’ work as well as their own.

Because we want to accommodate as many members as possible, members may only participate in Mentor Mondays once in a six month period. For example, if you take part in the November 2015 session, you would not be eligible to sign up again until May 2016.

Important: Mentor Mondays always fill up very quickly, with a waiting list for each session. If you need to cancel for any reason once you have confirmed your spot, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to someone else.
