Ask the Art Historian
The California Art Club offers its “Ask the Art Historian” services to support research requests from CAC members, students, scholars and art enthusiasts.
The organization is pleased to offer these research services to its members with the first hour of research assistance free of charge as a benefit of membership for up to one request per calendar year. If additional research time is required, the charge is $25.00 for each additional hour of fraction thereof. The requestor will be notified if additional hours will be required before the research is conducted.
For requests from non-members, the research is conducted on an hourly-fee basis and is subject to a one-hour minimum. Non-member research fees are $75.00 for the first hour, regardless of the quantity of the results or if the information or image requested is not found. Requests requiring more than an hour of research time will be charged at the rate of $25.00 for each additional hour or fraction thereof. The requestor will be notified if additional hours will be required before the research is conducted.
Reproductions, materials and photocopies provided by the California Art Club as part of its research services are for scholarship purposes only and require the organization’s written permission in order to be published.
