Works that have been exhibited or published elsewhere, or received an award, are not eligible to participate in this exhibition. I attest this work has not been exhibited elsewhere nor has it won any previous awards.*

Artwork cannot be removed from the virtual exhibition prior to notification.*

The prices and titles of artwork listed on this contract form are accurate and will not be changed after submission.*

Commission rates are as follows: 60% to the artist, 40% to the California Art Club.*

Paintings available for acquisition will be professionally framed and labeled, ready for acquisition.*

If a work sells, the artist will be responsible for preparing and packaging the work for shipment. Local delivery may also be possible, negating any cost. The CAC will handle the sale of the artwork, itself, and any associated tax. Artist will supply the CAC with estimated shipping weight and dimensions to help facilitate sale of artwork.*

Participating Artists cannot offer the selected artwork through their website or on any other platform for the duration of the exhibition. I, the Artist, agree to forward collectors to the CAC for acquisition of the selected work upon acceptance into The Auxiliary Gold Medal Exhibition.*

I am aware that the Auxiliary Gold Medal Exhibition is a new exhibition created to showcase works of art that were appreciated by the judges, but could not be included in the physical gallery due to spatial constraints. I recognize that although these works have been selected to participate in the Auxiliary Gold Medal Exhibition from the applicants for the 112th Gold Medal exhibition, that the Auxiliary Gold Medal exhibition is a separate exhibition showcased in a fully virtual gallery and will not be exhibited in person at any galleries associated with the 112th Gold Medal exhibition.*

I understand the works in this virtual exhibition are not eligible for award categories and will not be featured in the catalogue for the 112th Gold Medal exhibition.*

The artworks in the Auxiliary Gold Medal Exhibition will be unveiled in a special segment during the Gold Medal Award Ceremony on July 22, 2023. We ask that participating Artists do not make any public announcements regarding this exhibition until after the July 22, 2023 unveiling. After the unveiling on July 22, Artist will promote their participation in this exhibition through various social media platforms, including but not limited to, Instagram and Facebook. Promotional tools will be supplied at a later date.*

I agree to send a digital file (frame cropped out) of my selected work to daniela@californiaartclub.org by Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Failure to do so, or to complete this form by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, will result in forfeiture of participation in this exhibition, without exception.*
