CAC Exhibition (1916)

March 14 – ??, 1916
The Friday Morning Club, Los Angeles, CA

Reception: Tuesday, March 14, 1916

Exhibiting Artists

Antony Anderson is fairly scathing in his review as he notes that most of the work submitted for this exhibition is not new. He lists details and titles of the new work but only lists the artists who submitted an older piece.

Thomas Moran, painting in Pasadena, was supposed to be a guest of honor at the reception, but he couldn’t make it. Four of his paintings were displayed including a portrait of Moran done in 1915 by Carroll Beckwith.
