Details:
Artists have the choice of painting from a model or painting in the downtown area.

9:00am – Painters will meet at Sabina Turner Studio to sign in and organize into painting groups based on subject. A model will be available for studio painting and photo shoot outside; old stores and houses located in two block downtown; rolling hills and vineyards within minutes.
12:30pm – Painters return to studio for lunch and discussions of paintings
4:00pm – Regroup at studio for sign out prior to departing for home
Cell phone reception is spotty; go to the top of the hill to get reception. Bring a sack lunch – the closest deli is 6 miles away in Plymouth.

Model Fee: $10.00. Reservations required. No reservation is required to paint outside.

Directions: Drive to Plymouth on Route 49 best way possible from your location. When reach Plymouth on Route 49, turn onto Shenandoah/Fiddletown Rd. heading East away from downtown Plymouth. Stay right at the “Y”. Continue up the hill approximately 5 miles. When the speed limit turns to 25 mph Take the first right on Quartz Mt. Rd. N. (at the corner there is a house with boulders in the front yard). Continue up Quartz Mt. Rd. approximately 1/4 mile. Sabina’s driveway is the first left past Wilma Court. Access to her studio is at the side door of the garage. The phone number is 209-245-6581 Please don’t rely on a GPS as they don’t work right up there. Cell phone reception is inconsistent after leaving Plymouth.
