The California Plein Air movement flourished along the Arroyo Seco at the turn of the century. During Lummis Days weekend, California Art Club artists carry on the tradition with an outdoor paint-out at the Autry’s historic Southwest Museum campus. Painters will spread out across the campus to create works inspired by the site’s views, history, and architecture.

Presented by the California Art Club in partnership with the Autry Museum of the American West.

From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days, visitors can also explore two exhibitions, Four Centuries of Pueblo Pottery and Making a Big Noise: The Explorations of Charles Lummis.
