Introduction to Negative Painting with Brenda Swenson

Negative painting is the technique of painting around a subject (the negative space) to define it in the composition. Acclaimed watercolor artist Brenda Swenson leads this class during which you’ll learn how to create interesting shapes and depth with transparent glazes. Build confidence in handling glazes, wet into wet, under-paintings.
