Family Day at the Bowers Museum: Learn from Master Artists with the California Art Club
Sunday, June 11 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Budding artists of all ages can learn about representational artforms from Master Artists with the California Art Club during three “Learn from Master Artists” Family Days this summer at the Bowers Museum.
On the first Family Day, to be held Sunday, June 11, Daniel Gonzales will be teaching portraiture to young artists. This event is just in time for Father’s Day! Bring your family to learn the fundamentals of portraiture and create a beautiful keepsake for Dad!
A Word from the Artist
“Art is my passion. It is the way I live my life and how I see the world. I work in three main genres: Western, Figurative/Classical Portraiture, and a contemporary style of Mexican folk art. Often my artwork is narrative in style – depicting people and places that I know – other times the narrative takes on a more dream-like form.”
-Daniel Gonzales
