Central Coast Chapter Paint/Sculpt-Out At Spooner’s Cove- Montana de Oro State Park
Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join the Central Coast Chapter for its June Paint/Sculpt-Out at Spooner’s Cove, the best known beach in Montana de Oro State Park, a few miles west of the town of Los Osos.
Spooner’s Cove Beach sits where Islay Creek empties into the Pacific Ocean in Montana de Oro State Park. This beautiful cove has a pebbly beach, tide pools, caves, and unique rock formations to climb around on especially at lower tides. The tide pools are exposed at low tides and there is a sandy beach that is amazing at any time. This is a picturesque spot with large rock formations, caves, overlooks, and inland scenes all pf which are subject to capture in great paintings.
