Affectionately known to locals as “the Arroyo”, the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena is a protected parkland with 22 miles of trails and recreation opportunities. It provides the habitat to sustain the rich biodiversity found within this stunning canyon.

We ask that artists submit works that capture the picturesque nature and unique charm of the varied spaces in the Arroyo Seco, with special attention to its habitat, water resources and wild life common to the area.

We kindly encourage artists to review the Arroyo Seco Trail Guide Info Sheet supplied by the City of Pasadena for inspiration.
