Qualifications:
Open to current California Art Club members in one of the following categories: Signature Artist, Artist, Out-of-State Artist, and Mentor Program Member.

Subject:
You are encouraged to explore Malibu through any genre you wish, including landscapes, seascapes, urban scenes, and figurative works. One of the most picturesque regions in the nation, Malibu’s topography ranges from the Santa Monica Mountains and canyons to the Pacific Ocean. In addition to the natural environment, Malibu offers an active and vibrant community of residents and visitors that fuel artistic creativity. From the famous surf culture to the varied wildlife, there is no shortage of inspiration!

Medium:
Paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic.

Submit works up to a maximum of 72 inches tall or wide. The main gallery of the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art is an awe-inspiring space with a 24-foot high ceiling. We encourage artists to submit larger and more accomplished works that will better fit the impressive scale of the museum setting. To note, smaller studies done “on location” are also encouraged.

Commission:
60% Artist; 20% Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art; 20% CAC

There is a limit of four entries you can submit to the exhibition. Please pay by credit card through Online Juried Shows. The entry fee is $40.

Please note that all submission fees are non-refundable, and all notifications of acceptance will be sent to artist's Online Juried Shows profiles.
