Qualifications:
Open to current California Art Club members in one of the following categories: Signature Artist, Artist, Out-of-State Artist, and Mentor Program Member. (Sculptors INCLUDED).

Subject:
Since its 1909 inauguration, the California Art Club has been dedicated to promoting and supporting contemporary-traditional fine art through championing painting and sculpture featuring representational practices. The annual Gold Medal Exhibition is the most vital platform for demonstrating the best of the realist genre. With an awareness of both the California Art Club's mission and the high quality expectations of this exhibition, CAC artists are encouraged to submit artwork that best exemplifies their talents.

Medium:
Paintings must be in oil, acrylic, pastel, or watercolor. No works on giclée or any print-making process will be accepted.

Sculptures must be permanent material such as bronze, marble, terra cotta, fiberglass, or wood.

The maximum size for standard-size paintings (unframed) is 36” x 48” for horizontal formats or 60” x 48” for vertical formats. The maximum size for miniature paintings (unframed) is 9" x 12" or 108 sq inches. Please note that, for miniatures, frames cannot exceed 3" in width.

The maximum width and depth for standard-size sculptures is 36". Please note that, for larger works, sculptors must provide pedestals. Miniature sculptures cannot exceed 14" in any direction.

Please note that sculptors must submit three digital images of varying views of each entry. For works with multiple editions, the edition number must be provided.

Commission:
60% Artist

Payments for sold artworks will be distributed to artists within 30 days of the close of the exhibition.

There is a limit of three entries you can submit to the exhibition. Please pay by credit card through Online Juried Shows. The entry fee is $80.

Please note that all submission fees are non-refundable, and all notifications of acceptance will be sent to artist's Online Juried Shows profiles.
