Greetings Friend!
Last week we unveiled Coastal California at the California Art Club Gallery at The Old Mill – the first new exhibition at our permanent exhibition space at this historic landmark since the beginning of the pandemic. It was great to see so many of you at the Reception with the Artists – and I look forward to more opportunities for us to gather together and enjoy the camaraderie that is a hallmark of our organization.
Activities that we look forward to this month include ArtNight Pasadena, which will be presented in a hybrid format with both in-person and virtual events, as well as the online presentation of Comfort and Gratitude, the third installment of our new quarterly Excellence in Traditional Fine Art Competition. I thank our good friend, art historian and curator Micah Christensen, for being the guest judge, and I can’t wait to see the stunning
works he selected as finalists and prize winners.
I also want to remind all the Associate Artists in our membership that Annual Artist Member Jurying will take place next month. I encourage you to become familiar with the process and submit your best work for consideration.
