Debby Beck won the Artist of the Month award for her painting "Winter Trees" from the Verdugo Hills Art Association in December.

Helen L. Bell will be at the Riverside Art Museum from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on November 12, 2009 to sign posters and giclée prints of her painting "Julia's Door," commemorating the 80th anniversary of the museum's Julia Morgan-designed building.

Catherine Boyer received an honorable mention for her painting "Eucalyptus Splendor" at the 10th Annual National Juried Exhibition of the American Impressionist Society held at Saks Galleries in Denver, CO. Boyer also received third place for "Garden Delight" at the Menlo Art League's Annual Show 2009.

Bruce Sanford Day's painting "Come Exploring" has been juried into the Top 100 of the Paint America Competition and Exhibit 2009. The exhibit will travel nationally beginning in spring 2010, and is accompanied by a hgih-quality exhibition catalogue.

Rick J. Delanty received two awards at the October 2009 Sedona Plein Air Invitational: "Oak Creek's Secret" was given the Collectors' Choice award, and "Sedona Autumn" was purchased as part of the Presenting Sponsor's award, to be installated in the collection of Sedona's l'Auberge resort.

Fariad was awarded the bronze ribbon for his painting "My Grandfather's Drums" at the Oil Painters of America's Western Regional Exhibition held at the Howard/ Mandville Gallery in Kirkland, Washington.

Amanda Fish is featured in the November 2009 issue of American Art Collector magazine in "Artist Focus" and in an article on artists who enjoy painting small works.

Dan Graziano was awarded first place (non-professional category) for his painting "Towards L.A." at the Southern California Artists Association's "Points of View - Modern Landscape 2009 Exhibition." The exhibit runs through December 27 at the SCAA Gallery, located in Laguna Beach, CA.

Maggie Renner Hellman's landscapes in oil will be featured in Air and Simple Gifts, a solo exhibit at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History. The exhibit opens February 8th and runs through March 7, 2010.

Amy Lind will hold a solo exhibition titled "Profile" at the Robert Lange Studios in Charleston, South Carolina, featuring 20 new figurative works focusing on the profile view. The exhibition runs through November 30.

Alfredo Tofanelli was awarded Best of Show for his painting
"Light Play" at the Biennial Juried Plein Air Painting Exhibition held at
the Napa Valley Museum. He was awarded a One-Man Show to be exhibited at the Napa Valley Museum in Yountville, California from March 5 - April 25, 2010.

Yvonne Steinbach's oil painting "Serenity" is included in PaintAmerica's Paint The Parks Top 100 for 2009. The exhibition will be on tour for a full year; it is currently on view at the Kolb Studio in the Grand Canyon from August 1 - September 7, 2009. From there, the exhibition will travel to other parts of the country through spring 2010.
