Membership

Members are the heart of the California Art Club. There are many different membership categories, for artists and non-artists alike. Find the one that fits your needs best and join today!

All Memberships include these Annual Benefits:

  • Four issues of the California Art Club Newsletter
  • Invitations to California Art Club exhibitions, openings and other events
  • Eligibility to attend California Art Club members-only events including paint-outs and workshops
  • Opportunity to participate in CAC sponsored special museum tours
  • CAC Monthly Meetings with prominent art lecturers ($10 at the door)

Collector’s Circle

This exclusive category of membership offers special privileges including tours of renowned artists’ studios, dinners and visits to collectors’ private homes, and invitations to special events such as the Collectors’ Circle Annual Benefit Dinner and Sneak Preview of the Gold Medal Juried Exhibition.

Corporate 100

Established in honor of the 100th anniversary of the California Art Club, the Corporate 100 brings together leaders in the business community, while supporting the educational and artistic mission of the California Art Club, offering members a unique opportunity to build relationships with other corporate executives, as well as with nationally renowned artists, students, scholars, patrons and collectors.

Signature Artist/Sculptor

The current top tier of membership, these are Artist and Sculptor Members who have been elected to Signature status by the CAC Board and a panel of their peers. Signature artists are well established in their careers and have numerous years of experience exhibiting on a national level.

Artist/Sculptor

Professional fine art painter and/or sculptor residing in California; selected by a membership jury. Number of Artist and Sculptor Members is limited. Additional Annual Benefits: Eligibility to submit artwork to CAC exhibitions (including the CAC Gallery at The Old Mill and the Annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibitions).

Mentor Program

Another starting point for professional artists or art students under 30 years of age residing in California. Join here and contact the CAC office for additional application details. Additional Annual Benefits: Eligibility to submit artwork to CAC exhibitions (including the CAC Gallery at The Old Mill and the Annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibitions). Opportunity to assist instructors during CAC Master Artist Workshops. Opportunity to study with CAC Signature Member/s (with their permission).

Out-of-State Artist/Sculptor

Professional fine art painter and/or sculptor residing outside California; invited or selected by a membership jury. Number of Out-of-State Artist and Sculptor Members is limited. Additional Annual Benefits: Eligibility to submit artwork to CAC exhibitions (including the CAC Gallery at The Old Mill and the Annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibitions).

Associate Artist

The starting point for members who wish to be recognized as artists and/or sculptors, participate in a wide variety of events and activities, and have the opportunity to apply to for juried Artist Membership. Additional Annual Benefits: Eligibility to submit artwork to CAC exhibitions (including our permanent exhibition venue at the historic Blinn House in Pasadena, and others).

Patron

Membership for art lovers who wish to support the Club, meet fellow art collectors and patrons, and meet artists through participating in a variety of events and activities.
