Jurors of awards:
For the Paul R. Mabury prize for landscape: Jean Mannheim, Max Wieczorek, J. Bond Francisco, Mrs. Herman J. Hall and DeWitt Parshall; for the J.H. Ackerman prize for figure: Jean Mannheim, J. Bond Francisco, and DeWitt Parshall. [There was also a third prize that hadn't been awarded as of press time.]
Awards:
Carl Oscar Borg received the Paul R. Mabury (landscape) prize of $300 for The Lone Rider and this picture became the property of the art museum; Max Wieczorek received the J.H. Ackerman (figure) prize of $200 for his Portrait of Mrs. Rufus C. Spalding. [The winner of the third prize of $100 was not listed.]
