Born in Indiana on August 29, 1895. Horace Edmund Huey was a director and past president of the Valley Artists Guild. The school "will be devoted to understanding traditional, representational art," and he taught landscape and still life painting classes there. H. E. Huey died in Los Angeles on August 1, 1963.
