The Popular Prize was offered by William Preston Harrison of Chicago. Every visitor to the exhibition was permitted to cast a vote for his favorite picture.

Clarence Black prize ($50, to a picture that hadn’t won another award) - Festival in Hopi-Land by Carl O. Borg
