EXHIBITION TITLE: Quintessential California

EXHIBITION DATES: June 2 – September 26, 2017

QUALIFICATIONS: One must be an active Artist, Out-Of-State Artist, Associate Artist or Student Artist Member of the California Art Club to be eligible to apply for Quintessential California.

SUBJECT:
From beautiful beaches and picturesque landscapes to bustling cities and innovative architecture, California is an plein air artist’s dream workspace. For Quintessential California, we are looking for artwork that expresses a variety of California subject matter.

MEDIUM: Oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic.

COMMISSION: 60% Artist; 20% Altadena Town & Country Club; 20% CAC (All artwork MUST be for sale.)

DEADLINE: Monday, April 10, 2017

ENTRY FEE: Please pay by credit card through Online Juried Shows. The first image you submit is $35, and each additional image is $10. Click here to apply!

NOTIFICATIONS: Notifications will be sent to artists via email on or about Friday, April 21st.

ARTWORK DROP-OFF: Wednesday, May 31, 2017; 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. noon at Altadena Town & Country Club

SHIPPING INFORMATION: Out-of-town shipments MUST arrive by Friday, May 26, 2017.

Artists will be responsible for the cost of crating, handling, and shipping artwork to and from the exhibition via Box & Ship in Pasadena, CA. Box & Ship will charge a $40.00 handling fee. Please DO NOT ship paintings to the Altadena Town & Country Club. Further shipping information will be provided upon acceptance.

ARTISTS’ RECEPTION: Sunday, June 4, 2017; 3 – 5 p.m.

ARTWORK PICK-UP: Wednesday, September 27, 2017; 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

EXHIBITION TITLE: Idyllic Impressions

EXHIBITION DATES: May 16 – September 10, 2017

SUBJECT: We are looking for artwork that focuses on inspirational views of life in nature and society.

QUALIFICATIONS: One must be an active Artist, Out-of-State Artist, Mentor Program or Signature Artist Member of the California Art Club to be eligible to apply for Idyllic Impressions.

MEDIUM: Only original paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic will be accepted.

COMMISSION: 60% Artist; 20% Old Mill; 20% CAC (All artwork MUST be for sale.)

There is no limit to the number of pieces you can submit to the exhibition. There are no entry fees for this exhibition.

EXHIBITION TITLE: Golden State Splendor

EXHIBITION DATES: July 15 – November 5, 2017

LOCATION: Santa Paula Art Museum
117 North Tenth Street, Santa Paula, CA 93060

SUBJECT: We are looking for paintings and sculpture that represent the beautiful Golden State – whether seascapes, landscapes, city scenes, portraits, still-life, or wildlife, the subject is up to you!

QUALIFICATIONS: All active CAC Members – Signature, Artist, Out-of-State, Mentor Program, Associate, and Student Artist Members.

MEDIUM: Original paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic and sculpture in all traditional formats – bronze, marble, terra cotta, fiberglass, wood or plaster. There are no size limitations.

COMMISSION: 60% Artist; 20% Santa Paula Art Museum; 20% CAC (All artwork MUST be for sale.)

DEADLINE: Monday, May 29, 2017
