M. Hale Brown
(1901 – 1987)

An Associate Member and 33rd CAC President, Brown and his wife Frances lived in Los Angeles and Pacific Palisades. Both he and his wife were later made Honorary Life Members. They oversaw three Annual Gold Medal Exhibitions, the 57th in 1966 through the 59th in 1968.
